Hello all! I know I haven't posted in a while, and I plan on changing that by making it a point to post at least twice a week.
Christmas was AMAZING! I got to see amazing people, eat amazing food, and got amazing gifts. But, I didn't forget that it was Jesus' birthday, and we made sure to celebrate that as well. Some of the most noteworthy gifts I received were tons of gift cards, a BigTop Cupcake Maker, a remote start for my Scion, Reebok Easy Tones, and a Silver Dollar City season pass. I loved Christmas; all three of them! (Three sets of grandparents)
New Years was pretty good as well. My fiance' and I spent it with my grandparent's, because I just felt like we needed to. It was nice:)
Yesterday was my fiance and I's four year and eight month anniversary. We have been engaged for eight months now:) It wasn't a big anniversary so we didn't do anything, but it was worth mentioning. Today is an anniversary as well. Unfortunately, it's not a happy anniversary, but rather quite sad and solemn. Three years ago today, on January 5, 2008, four boys, my good friend Zachary Eugene Whittet being one of them, went out joyriding for a good time. They ended up hill-topping. Not one of them made it home alive; all four were killed on impact as their car veered off the road and hit a tree. Zach was an awesome person. He loved his family and especially his little sister. They will all be missed. Rest In Peace Zach.
Oh College! How I have missed you during this break.... NOT! School starts again on the 18th, and although I can't wait to actually start my nursing classes, having a college consumed life again doesn't thrill me. I just keep telling myself "just get it done, and you will be making nearly $20/hr by the time you are twenty-two years old." (if I do it right). My mom works in surgery at Cox Hospital with a nurse who is twenty-one years old and is already making $18/hr, and went to the same school I am attending. Just thinking about that keeps me going. I want to give my future kid(s) the best life I possibly can.
Well, I can't think of much more right this minute, but thanks for reading!
